INFID's hard work with various community elements in pushing for the ratification of the Sexual Violence Crime Law (UU TPKS) culminated in the law's ratification in 2022. INFID produced five advocacy reinforcement documents: one policy paper, two briefing papers, one position paper, and one policy recommendation. INFID's efforts did not stop at ratification; advocacy continues to ensure the implementation of the UU TPKS is in accordance with the mandate stipulated in the law.
In addition, during G20 Indonesia 2022, INFID was appointed as the Chair of Civil 20 (C20), coordinating hundreds of civil society organizations (CSOs) from around the world to urge G20 leaders to create solutions for seven issues: sustainable development and humanitarian goals; vaccine access and global health; gender equality and disability; taxation and sustainable finance; environment, climate justice, and energy transition; education, digitalization, and civic space; and anti-corruption.

INFID also received the trust to become one of the non-governmental representatives in the National Task Force for Business and Human Rights (GT BHAM), formed by the Indonesian Government through the Ministry of Law and Human Rights. INFID plays a role in coordinating the mainstreaming of business and human rights at the national level. In 2025, INFID will once again represent Indonesian CSOs to deliver a CSO Statement regarding the national achievement of SDGs in Indonesia at the UN headquarters in New York, USA. At 40 years old (2025), INFID remains steadfast as a platform advocating for human rights, democracy, and inclusive and just development. The longer INFID exists, the clearer its message becomes: the role of civil society is non-negotiable in a democracy and must not be weakened. INFID is committed to continuing to play a role in shaping the future of civil society in Indonesia and globally.
